Parsio Review 2026: AI Document and Email Parser

Parsio is an AI document and email parser that pulls structured data out of PDFs, invoices, receipts, bank statements, and incoming emails, then sends it to a spreadsheet or accounting software. It suits small businesses and operations teams that retype the same kinds of documents every week.

What Is Parsio?

Parsio offers four parsing engines. The AI parser has pre-built models for common document types such as invoices, receipts, bank statements, business cards, ID documents, and W-2 forms. The GPT parser handles unstructured documents, the template parser suits stable layouts that you set up by highlighting the text to extract, and an OCR converter turns PDFs and images into text. It also parses incoming emails and attachments (PDF, HTML, XLSX, CSV, DOCX, XML, TXT) in real time and extracts tables with a variable number of rows. An AI code assistant writes Python post-processing from a plain-language description. Data exports to Excel, CSV, JSON, and Google Sheets, and connects through QuickBooks, Slack, Google Drive, Zapier, Make, n8n, webhooks, and an API. It reports 10,000+ businesses and a 4.9/5 rating on Capterra.

A parsed page costs 1 to 3 credits depending on the parser, and credits renew monthly. The AI parser costs 3 credits a page. There is no credit card needed for the free plan.

Pros and Cons

Where it holds up: the permanent free plan lets you test it on real documents, and having four engines in one tool means you can match the method to each document type. It handles both documents and incoming emails with attachments, and exports to Google Sheets, Excel, QuickBooks, and thousands of apps via Zapier, Make, and n8n. The pricing page says prices have stayed unchanged since launch.

Where it falls short: usage is credit-based, so the free 30 credits cover only about ten AI-parsed pages. The Free and Starter plans are limited to one user, with unlimited team members starting at the $124/mo Growth plan. Multi-language support is stated for Latin and European languages, so it is a weaker fit for other scripts.

Who Should Skip This

If you process only a handful of documents a month, the free plan may be enough or manual entry may be simpler. If your documents are in non-European scripts, check accuracy on samples before paying. And if you need a full accounts-payable workflow with approvals and payments, Parsio extracts the data but is not an accounting system.
